In East Boston there is an empty parking lot where housing could be built.

There is a park to the south and rowhouses to the north.

The parking lot is long and narrow.

A man named Leo sleeps in his car here.

It is very uncomfortable, but he has no other option.

He cannot afford an apartment in Boston.

Fortunately, affordable housing is proposed on the parking lot.

It is affordable to build because of standard prefabricated parts .

When construction is done, Leo parks his car and walks to the makerspace on the ground floor.

He applies for a job so he can earn enough money to pay rent.

He teaches classes about how to build wooden boat models.

East Boston used to have a big shipping industry using clipper ships.

The building is like a ship full of tightly packed units.

The south elevation has balconies and big windows facing the park. The ground level has graffiti mural walls.
The north elevation has hallways and small windows facing the rowhouses. The ground level has glass walls to see inside.

Leo's apartment is small, but space efficient.

A bench folds from the wall to sit. No shoes allowed inside!

Leo invited his three identical twins for dinner and they all stare at each other.
Panels fold down from the wall to make a table.

Leo likes to eat cereal for dessert.

The bed is a giant drawer that pulls out from underneath the living room area.
Blankets and pillows are stored in the drawers inside the steps.

In the morning Leo drinks tea and draws on the walls or in his notebook.

Leo's clothes were designed in Marvelous Designer

Leo was posed using Daz Studio

The uncanny scene was rendered in Cinema 4D
